music box (myoo-zik boks) n. A box enclosing an "apparatus" which produces a certain tune or tunes.
In this case, the "apparatus" is four wonderful male voices, joined in song, used to create audible delights and visual excellence. To better understand how Music Box produces these tunes, one needs only to continue reading about the various parts which make up this "apparatus."
Dan Wilson - tenor - without a doubt the most talented of the bunch. A song writer, arranger, composer, lyricist, educator, father, husband, lead, baritone, bass, etc., etc. Obviously, there's not much Dan can't do when it comes to music. However, being the "oldie" of the quartet, Dan does possess the wisedom to guide, the strength to endure and the knowledge to know when he's outnumbered! When all else fails, Dan simply slaps the other three members around.
Jack Nelis - lead - without a doubt, the best lead in the quartet. Should be, 'cause he's been singing in the shower for most of his life, and that makes him the cleanest lead in the quartet, too!
Bob Szabo - baritone - without a doubt, the best singer of the group. Also the one who wrote this "bio." Without him, the other three would have a tough time finding who to blame for singing the wrong note. Bob has a history of enjoying life to its fullest, and both he and Jack have, by far, the fullest waists of the four. He says his size helps him to sing the intricate intervals needed to enrich the tonal center, but it actually helps to limit the selection of costumes the quartet can wear.
John Bloomquist - bass without a doubt, the best looking of the four, so he says. Actually, John is a real talent, and has one of the richest voices in town. We're not excatly sure how much he paid for it, but we're not sure he got his money's worth! According to John, he looks forward to finally reaching puberty. When that happens, he'll actually be able to make sounds when he sings a low G!
